Reflections in the Park 2025

Hillcrest Family Services is a Dubuque-based nonprofit dedicated to comprehensive, patient-focused mental and brain-health care for people of all ages. Its continuum of services includes crisis walk-in support, outpatient counseling, psychiatric care, intensive psychiatric rehabilitation, wellness programs, and residential/supportive living options. Guided by a holistic, compassionate approach, Hillcrest meets people where they are and helps them move toward stability, recovery, and hope.

Each holiday season, Hillcrest brings the community together for Reflections in the Park, a beloved drive-through light display at Louis Murphy Park. With months of planning and the help of community partnerships, sponsorships, and an army of staff and volunteers, Hillcrest designs, installs, and maintains more than 100 illuminated scenes and animations that transform the park into a winter wonderland. The event runs nightly from Thanksgiving evening through a few days after New Year’s Day (5:00–10:00 p.m., seven days a week), offering families and visitors a safe, inclusive, joy-filled way to celebrate the season from the comfort of their vehicles.

More than a light show, Reflections in the Park is Hillcrest’s signature annual fundraiser. Proceeds from admissions—and the generous support of donors and sponsors—directly sustain Hillcrest’s life-changing programs, from counseling and psychiatric services to residential care and community-based outreach in schools, homes, and neighborhoods. By attending or donating, you help ensure that children, adults, and families across our region have timely access to the care they need—turning holiday spirit into year-round hope, healing, and opportunity.
